Internship Programme
SHSRC-K accepts talented and motivated individuals to join our internship program—an opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to our mission of strengthening health systems. We are committed to diversity and encourage applications from all qualified candidates.
Purpose
The main goal is to provide you with a quality learning experience. In turn, our interns will lend their expertise from various fields to our mission. As an intern at SHSRC-K, you will :
Gain a deep understanding of our mission and daily operations.
Engage in meaningful projects and assignments that expand your work experience.
Develop new skills and enhance existing ones to boost your career prospects.
Work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, broadening your professional network.
You are currently pursuing a recognised educational programme in a field related to Public Health, leading to a formal undergraduate or post-graduate qualification / degree.
OR
You have completed your qualification/degree within a twelve-month period at the time of application.
Minimum Internship duration will be 1 month, and maximum will be 6 months only (Any time of the year)
A cover letter
A one-page Statement of Purpose (SOP) detailing your motivation for applying, your expectations from the internship, and your specific areas of interest
Bonafide certificate issued by Head of Institute/Department/Guide

SHSRC-K operates through six dedicated Research Groups, each specializing in different domains. While applicants are encouraged to indicate their area of interest, the final allocation to a specific Research Group will be based on the available slots, ongoing projects and institutional priorities at the discretion of the Executive Director.
