SHSRC-Kerala was invited to the Regional Consultative Meeting on Health Technology Assessment (HTA), organized by the Regional Resource Centre for HTA (RRC-HTA) -Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Trivandrum. The meeting was specifically convened for State Health Officials to discuss the integration of HTA into Kerala's health planning and policy processes.

The consultative meeting brought together senior health officials from across Kerala to deliberate on the potential role of HTA in strengthening the state’s health system. Key discussions focused on the institutional support available through HTA India and the RRC-HTA, and explored how HTA can assist in evidence-based priority setting, optimal resource allocation, and the development of sustainable health policies in Kerala
