The State Health Systems Resource Centre Kerala (SHSRC-K) conducted a sensitization training and workshop for the health team of Wayanad district on 19 August 2025. This was the final session of a series of workshops held for healthcare workers in three Wayanad blocks. This event, held at the Skill Lab, Government Medical College, Wayanad, was an integral component of the ongoing ICMR CONVERTECH-HWCs implementation research project. Participants included a diverse group of health professionals from across the district, such as Health Supervisors, Public Health Nurses, Junior Public Health Nurses, Health Inspectors, Junior Health Inspectors and Mid-Level Service Providers.

The sessions were led by Dr. V. Jithesh, Executive Director, SHSRC-K, who provided a comprehensive introduction to the project and guided participants in finalizing the proposed implementation model. The primary objective was to ensure the effective and streamlined execution of the research project within the district.

The proceedings commenced with a welcome address and opening session by Dr. Sruthi O, Consultant Medical, and were coordinated by Dr. Anshad V.K., Consultant Non-Medical, along with a team of health supervisors.
