A committee constituted by the Government of Kerala to submit necessary recommendations for framing the rules for the Kerala Public Health Act 2023 has finalized the recommendations of the committee which met on January 21, 2025 at SHSRC. The recommendations were prepared by a committee comprising of Dr. Reena KJ (Director of Health Department) Chairperson, Dr. V Jitesh (Executive Director SHSR,C) Convenor, Additional Secretary/ Joint Secretary (Legislation Department). Additional Secretary/ Joint Secretary (Health and Family Welfare Department), Dr. Rita KP (Additional Director, Department of Health), Dr. Anuja (Professor & Head of Community Medicine, Thiruvananthapuram Medical College) Dr. T.S. Anish (Associate Professor, Manjeri Medical College) Dr. Bilal (Assistant Professor of Community Medicine, Thiruvananthapuram Medical College) Dr. Harikumar S (Assistant Director Public Health), Dr. Subhash M (Medical Officer Thiruvananthapuram Government Ayurveda Dispensary), Dr. Srikanth PS (Medical Officer APHC Kollam).
