ASPIRE Study; Consultative Meeting

A consultative meeting of ASPIRE (Antenatal Salivary Progesterone to Detect Pre-term Births and Improve Reproductive Endpoints) - an ICMR supported research study of SHSRC-Kerala was conducted at SHSRC-Kerala on 20 June 2024.


The primary objective of this meeting was to discuss the institution level implementation of the study. The study is planned to be implemented at four health institutions: SAT Hospital Trivandrum, Mother and Child Hospital Trivandrum, Kalamassery Medical College, and General Hospital Ernakulam. Selected Gynecologists and Nursing officers from the concerned health institutions attended the consultative meeting to provide technical support. The consultative meeting was led by Dr. V. Jithesh, Executive Director of SHSRC-Kerala and Principal Investigator of ASPIRE, SHSRC-Kerala Senior r Research officer Dr. S.R Ameena, SHSRC-Kerala Research Officer Dr. Bhavya Fernandez and Research staff of ASPIRE Project attended the meeting.
